The Wall III

Sometimes it’s fine to break the wall
and be sociable and all
for I cannot live on my own
Being with friends is better than alone

Sometimes it’s fine to build a wall
and be an introvert and all
I need to relax and recharge
before my friendly self takes charge

Sometimes it’s fine to break the wall
Sometimes it’s fine to build a wall
I’m both a friend and a loner
One cannot live without the other

The Wall II

Now’s the perfect time to break the wall
and let out the loudest bawl
for I am finally reinvigorated
and depression is obliterated

Now’s the perfect time to break the wall
and get ready for the next brawl
All of my demons should run
My road to redemption has begun

Now’s the perfect time to break the wall
and tell Death to recall
This is not the end of my story
I will run through life with fury

Morning, Nocturnal

“5 more minutes please”,
the nocturnal struggles.
Pillows give me ease.
Laziness has doubled.

Then I remember
the bills haunting like wraiths.
Enough of slumber.
The working day awaits.
