Watch III: Scott Steiner vs The English Language

I just realized why my mood has been so down lately: I have not seen any funny Scott Steiner videos lately – most notably the hilarious “Scott Steiner vs The English Language”. And tonight I have seen the aforementioned video more than thrice, and it never fails to make me laugh.

The legendary video “Scott Steiner vs The English Language”.

Seriously, I’m starting to feel better lately, and one thing that helped improve my mood is watching funny videos. Specifically, watching Scott Steiner butcher the English language helped improve my mood. Thank you, “Big Poppa Pump” Scott Steiner, whoever made the hilarious compilation, and whoever uploaded the video on another video-sharing site.

And I quote the host of Wrestling With Wregret Brian Zane, “Scott Steiner is why the Web was invented.”

Happy weekend!

Song of the Moment XXIII: Jim Johnston’s “The Undertaker (Original Piano Demo)”

In the previous Song of the Moment post, I shared what was on my on-repeat: “When I Was Your Man” by Bruno Mars. Today, I have been listening to the piano demo of the theme song of my all-time favorite pro wrestler, The Undertaker. Jim Johnston, the longest-serving composer for WWE, made the piano demo.

Whenever I’m in a depressive state and I don’t want to bounce back yet, I listen to said piano demo multiple times and dwell in the darkness. And what a beautiful yet haunting piano piece, it is. It is both comforting and saddening whenever I hear it.

Well done, Mr. Johnston. All the theme songs he created for wrestlers like Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, and The Undertaker are so legendary that Johnston should have been in the WWE Hall of Fame years ago. I hope he gets inducted into said hall of fame next year.

Anyway, if you’re wondering how I am… I’m not fine. I’m not fine since Saturday afternoon.

I need a drink. But that would ruin my rule of “drinking only on weekends”. So, no. I will not drink now. I will try not to. Fingers crossed.

10-Minute Warning CXIV

All right. What can I write here under 10 minutes?

I woke up late today, so I missed almost the entire Night 2 of WrestleMania XL. I only watched the main event: Roman Reigns vs Cody Rhodes in a Bloodline Rules match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. And the match was fucking amazing!

Rhodes was tough as steel all throughout the bout (even after a Samoan Spike/Spear combo from Solo Sikoa and Reigns), and I love how he ended the match with 3 consecutive Cross Rhodes to Reigns before finally finishing his story and winning the WWE title. And Jey Uso, John Cena, and Seth Rollins (in his Shield gear) helping Rhodes out were spectacular, but the most shocking interference was from The Undertaker – who took out The Rock with a Chokeslam! Sure, I don’t get why Taker interfered, but I’m here for it because he’s my favorite pro wrestler!

Congratulations to the new Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes! Now we are entering a new era, and he is the face of it. And to Roman Reigns: 1,316 days as champion. Wow. My hats off to you, Tribal Chief.

When I watch the entire Night 2 of WrestleMania XL, I will try to make a post about it and Night 1. Fingers crossed on that.

And time’s up.
