Notes to Self III

Last February 6, 2023, I promised myself to start blogging more often again. I started by launching a blogging series called Notes to Self (where I remind myself of a relevant quote from any form of media or someone I know.)

Today I’m celebrating my 1st monthsary of frequent blogging here on The Dispatch. I’m so proud of myself because it has been so long since I followed a blogging schedule successfully. (I think the last time I religiously blogged, Tumblr was in its 1st or 2nd year of existence.) And I’m not planning on stopping soon.

Anyway, let me celebrate my 1st blogging monthsary with the 3rd edition of Notes to Self, the very 1st blogging series I launched here on The Dispatch. And in this episode, I want to quote one of my favorite lines from the longest-running sci-fi series in the world, Doctor Who.

Spoiler warning if you have not seen the Doctor Who Series 5 episode “Vincent and The Doctor”.

“The way I see it, life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things or make them unimportant.”

The Eleventh Doctor, Doctor Who: Vincent and The Doctor (S05E10)

This quote from my favorite Doctor is the reason I acknowledge both bad and good things in my life – yes, even the bad things. I don’t like the bad things, but I can’t ignore that those, along with the good ones, make my life what it is.

If you have any quotes I should remember, please let me know in the comments section below, on my socials (here are my FacebookInstagram, and Twitter), or through email at therealderangedwriter@gmail.com.

Mark my f’n words,

Yes, he wears a mask sometimes. And according to most people, he looks like Bruno Mars when he is unmasked. He is a web/graphic designer by day and a hobby writer by night. (Or during his free time. It depends.) He is a huge fan of Dave Grohl and The Undertaker. He is a friendly introvert.
