Song of the Moment LXXXI: CFO$’s “Root of All Evil” (feat. Incendiary)

Aleister Black returns to WWE and attacks The Miz.

On last week’s SmackDown, Aleister Black returned and attacked The Miz. Sorry, Miz, you are one of my favorites of the modern era, but seeing Black on WWE makes me so happy because he is also a favorite of mine of this era. I have been a fan of Black since I saw his match against Neville at WWE’s United Kingdom Championship Tournament in 2017 (his name is Tommy End at that time), and then I followed his NXT and main roster run. He has a dark, mysterious aura, and his strikes are precise and vicious. If Black and The Undertaker would battle it out in the ring to see who’s the best pure striker, that would be awesome.

Side note: I wish I could say that I followed Aleister Black’s entire AEW run as Malakai Black, but I can’t. I only saw a few matches, but that’s it. Sorry.

Anyway, not only is Aleister Black back in WWE, but his first (and best) WWE theme song, “Root of All Evil”, is back as well. (Well, a remix of it, at least.) “Root of All Evil” sounds like an epic orchestral rock song you would hear during the apocalypse, and it is my third favorite pro wrestling theme of all time next to Finn Bálor’s “Catch Your Breath” and The Undertaker’s theme. Hearing it again on WWE again makes me so ecstatic.

After seeing Aleister Black’s return, I looked up “Root of All Evil” on Spotify, but sadly it’s not available there. Because of that, I’m listening to it on YouTube for now.

Welcome back, Aleister Black!

10-Minute Warning CLXXIII

Hello. What can I share here under 10 minutes?

Well, I watched WWE’s WrestleMania 41 later than usual. I watched Night 1 an hour after the first broadcast, while I watched Night 2 a few hours after it premiered because of urgent work. And while the event has a few low points, it was good overall and I had a nice time watching it at home.

Today my WrestleMania 41 review is almost ready, but sadly I have to move it to tomorrow because I’m recovering from a major anxiety attack this afternoon. I just hope I will be truly better by tomorrow.

That is all for now.

Song of the Moment LXXX: Ghost’s “Lachryma”

This work week has been astoundingly stressful, and I feel it’s just the beginning of more stress. Because of that, I’m going to make my weekend extra special. For starters, I’m drinking an ice-cold Jack & Coke Zero early while listening to Ghost’s new single, “Lachryma”.

I love the new song because it sounds like old-school Ghost but on another level. And the accompanying music video is amazing—Papa V Perpetua looks hauntingly regal.

I’m supposed to write more, but now I feel buzzed. Anyway, Ghost’s new album Skeletá will be released on April 25, 2025. I’m excited about it!

Happy weekend, everyone!
