III: About The Deranged Writer’s Instagram

This morning, I tried to do something different for The Diary: finish a draft before working hours. But because I’m normally a night owl and I need caffeine to function properly in the morning, I stayed away from my blog for a bit, had breakfast, drank coffee, and then did my usual clerical work. And I also joined Father on his survey in Laguna.

And while we were on the way to the job site, I scrolled through my blog. And then I found a great topic for today’s post, thanks to the nine latest Instagram posts shown on my blog’s sidebar.

Well, then. Now I’m back from Laguna, let me tell you about my Instagram account/feed!

10-Minute Warning V

So, what can I say here in under ten minutes?

Today I’m thankful for the most satisfying and relaxing weekday sleep since entering the family business last January 16. I went home at 1am and then woke up at lunchtime without hearing my parents/bosses complain. I’m sure this will not happen again soon, so I’m thankful.

Also, tonight I gathered my shit together and jogged at Three Trees. This is the 1st exercise I got since March 2023 started. I need to get back to doing aerobics and walking/running more. I was not this motivated in February.

And oh! I’m going out in a few minutes and have a drink with Younger Brother, Youngest Brother, and their music buddies. I’m craving for some Jack & Coke, so I hope they have that drink at the bar we’re going.

And yeah, I know. Jogging and then drinking? Very healthy.

And time’s up.

10-Minute Warning IV

So, what can I say in 10 minutes after reading the last 10-Minute Warning post?

Oh, God. After waking up at 12pm, I don’t feel so good. On a Saturday, I get to drink an average of 5 glasses of my favorite Jack and Coke. But last night, my stupid self went for 8. What the fuck am I thinking?

Anyway, I finally got to watch Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings while eating some chicken tinola. I don’t want this post to be a movie spoiler, so I simply have to say this: I love the action scenes and how the movie introduces a new part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The MCU is really good at worldbuilding.

After watching, I took a cold bath and changed clothes. I feel a bit better now, but I want to feel more than a bit better. So today I’m going to my favorite cafe and safe space – Satchmi. I cannot complete a week without going there, having my favorite affogato, and writing in my journal. I just hope I can find a seat right away because there are a lot of people hanging out there on weekends. (I’m happy that Satchmi’s business is doing great though.)

And time’s up.
