III: Everything About The Deranged Writer’s Instagram Feed

This morning, I tried to do something different for The Diary: finish a draft before working hours. But because I’m normally a night owl and I need caffeine to function properly in the morning, I stayed away from my blog for a bit, had breakfast, drank coffee, and then did my usual clerical work. And I also joined Father on his survey in Laguna.

And while we were on the way to the job site, I scrolled through my blog. And then I found a great topic for today’s post, thanks to the nine latest Instagram posts shown on my blog’s sidebar.

Well, then. Now I’m back from Laguna, let me tell you about my Instagram account/feed!

Notes to Self III

Last February 6, 2023, I made a promise to myself: blog more often again. I started by launching a blogging series called Notes to Self (where I remind myself of a relevant quote from any form of media or someone I know). Today, I’m celebrating my 1st month of frequent blogging here on The Diary. I’m so proud of myself because it’s been years since I’ve blogged religiously. (I think the last time I’ve done that, Tumblr was in its first or second year of existence.) And no, I’m not planning on stopping soon.

Anyway, let me celebrate my first blogging monthsary with the third edition of the same blogging series I started here in The Diary. I want to quote one of my favorite lines from the longest-running sci-fi series in the world, Doctor Who.

Spoiler warning if you haven’t seen the Doctor Who Series 5 episode “Vincent and The Doctor.”

10-Minute Warning V

So, what can I say here in under ten minutes?

Today I’m thankful for the most satisfying, relaxing weekday sleep since entering the family business on January 16. I went home at 1am and then woke up at lunchtime without hearing my parents/bosses complain. I’m sure this will not happen again soon, so I’m thankful.

Also, tonight I gathered my shit together and jogged at Three Trees. This is the 1st exercise I got since March 2023 started. I need to get back to doing aerobics and walking/running. I was not this motivated in February.

And oh! I’m going out in a few minutes and have a drink with Younger Brother, Youngest Brother, and their music buddies. I’m craving Jack & Coke, so I hope the bar we’re going to tonight has that.

And yeah, I know. Jogging and then drinking? Very healthy.

And time’s up.
