I’d like to explain my absence from The Diary last week.
Yesterday, I returned home from a wonderful family vacation in Osaka, Japan. The ironic thing is that I also carried the pain from a rupture that overwhelmed my mind and shattered my heart. Since the rupture, I believe I’m getting worse, and I’ve been using Threads (a social media microblogging site/app where I’m active) to count the days. This depression doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy the trip, however. As painful as the rupture was, many high points are worth remembering (e.g., the incredible food along Dotonbori, the autumn breeze, the picturesque spots). Both the joy and pain can be true.
That being said, I’ll need to take it easy on my blogging schedule. I will try to write as often as I can (especially the Always Watching reviews), but honestly, even my passion for writing here in The Diary has almost dried up.
