10-Minute Warning LXVI

Yesterday, I woke up feeling down. So I joined my Mother and Father in their grocery shopping, and I got to buy 8 cans of Jack and Coke. That’s a maximum of 2 cans per Friday or Saturday night. Because of that, I went home feeling good… then I remembered something that broke my heart. I brought that feeling to my sleep.

Today, I got my weekly hangout at Oversight at lunchtime. I enjoyed my favorite affogato while I updated my planner/journal, so I was able to get things off my chest somehow. Then I went to Ippudo and had ramen with my Mother, Father, and Younger Brother. What a lovely lunch. After our lunch and a fresh haircut, I went home feeling good… then I remembered again that one thing that broke my heart.

What’s that one thing that broke my heart? I’m not ready to talk about that here on The Dispatch. In fact, I have never talked about it to anyone, and I would like to keep it that way for now.

Anyway, I just remembered what happened last September 17, and that makes me feel better. I should sleep better now.

10-Minute Warning XXV

So, what happened to me today?

Since I don’t have paperwork to do today, I had time to get a fresh haircut and my weekly affogato Oversight. And before sunset, I dropped by the condominium. Mother, Father, Cristy (my cousin), and Younger Brother are at the condo as well.

Elder Brother is out of town for work, so Mother and Cristy took the time to clean the condo and my brothers’ pet dogs and Father took a nap on Elder’s bed. And before Mother, Father, and Cristy went to the condo, Younger Brother was guarding there alone and working as well.

Speaking of my brother’s pet dogs, it was really nice to see them again. Manuelito and Ariana are so adorable and fluffy. Awww.

At 7pm, I went up the roof deck and took photos of the Makati/Mandaluyong skyline – or at least I tried. The winds are so furious that I had to double my phone grip strength while taking photos. I really thought I would drop my phone, but thankfully I didn’t.

What else? Well, I left out a few more details, but that is pretty much what happened in my life today.

And time’s up.
