After my errands today and capping off the work week with an ice-cold Jack and Coke, now I’m tired and in a mellow mood, and I would like to simply quote Charlie Burg.
But I only think of you Will we be together soon? I’m thrown to the wayside You’re planted in my mind But I don’t wanna be okay without you

In my previous post last Friday, I mentioned that I was sick. Now, the only thing that is bothering me is my cough. But that will not stop me from walking and jogging tonight. And instead of walking at my usual jog path, I will join my brothers tonight at the gym and use one of the treadmills. And if I can lift some weights, maybe I should as well? Or maybe not. I will see about that.
Wait a minute. I just realized something: Tonight will be the 1st time I will exercise with all my brothers at the gym. Bro time!
Speaking of exercise, let me share one of my all-time favorite songs and the 1st track on my workout playlist – “Absolute Zero” by Stone Sour. Corey Taylor’s melodic screaming and the hard rock instrumentals never fail to pump me up. Hell yeah.
You’re looking at an absolute zero I’m not the devil, but I won’t be your hero
Lately, I have been listening to “Clarity” (a Grammy Award-winning dance-pop/EDM song by Russian/German DJ Zedd that features British pop singer Foxes) on repeat, and initially, I don’t know why. (Pun intended.) But the more I listen to it, I realize that I… miss someone? Whatever. What I do know is that Foxes’ vocals on the song (most notably, the chorus) are so full of emotion that I can visualize her singing with all of her heart as Zedd delivers the sick instrumentals. And the entire lyrics scream what my heart wants to scream right now. Great job, Mr. Zedd and Ms. Foxes!
If our love is tragedy Why are you my remedy? If our love’s insanity Why are you my clarity?

Also, I saw the music video for “Clarity” just now. I am 11 years too late to the party. Oops. But anyway, I love the video – specifically, I love the parts where Foxes is singing and all the VFX objects breaking and clashing with one another. That video, just like the song, totally earned my thumbs-up.

That is all.
