10-Minute Warning XI

Well, what can I type here in under 10 minutes?

For the 1st time since I started blogging more frequently, I feel so lazy to write. But I think it would help me stop being lazy if I talk about it here. Right, Dispatch? Thank you for understanding. Now I’m ready to write again.

Oh! Today was a bit productive at work. Around lunchtime, I joined Father in surveying a condominium for the 2nd time. And this time we have company – air-con technicians from another firm. I believe my dad is overseeing the whole installation? We will return to the condo and check the installation process tomorrow morning.

After today’s survey, Father and I went home, ate some air-fried chicken, and napped. We woke up at 6pm, and our local version of Family Feud was on TV. We were supposed to go to the mall with Mother and have a haircut tonight, but perhaps we all got lazy. I hope we can have our haircut before we leave for our Cagayan trip this coming Saturday.

Speaking of Saturday, last Saturday, March 25, I was sad. Why? March 25, 2019, was the day I almost died, and March 25, 2022, was the day the drummer of my favorite band Foo Fighters, Taylor Hawkins, died. I’m supposed to write about what happened to me and a tribute to Taylor, but I’m too sad to even start a draft. Maybe next time.

And time’s up.

Notes to Self III

Last February 6, 2023, I made a promise to myself: blog more often again. I started by launching a blogging series called Notes to Self (where I remind myself of a relevant quote from any form of media or someone I know). Today, I’m celebrating my 1st month of frequent blogging here on The Diary. I’m so proud of myself because it’s been years since I’ve blogged religiously. (I think the last time I’ve done that, Tumblr was in its first or second year of existence.) And no, I’m not planning on stopping soon.

Anyway, let me celebrate my first blogging monthsary with the third edition of the same blogging series I started here in The Diary. I want to quote one of my favorite lines from the longest-running sci-fi series in the world, Doctor Who.

Spoiler warning if you haven’t seen the Doctor Who Series 5 episode “Vincent and The Doctor.”
