10-Minute Warning LXXXI

So, what can I share here under 10 minutes after drinking 2 cans of Jack and Coke at 1am?

Yesterday I went to a music festival with my Mother and my Younger Brother. Besides knowing I would see my Youngest Brother perform with his bandmates, I didn’t know what to expect. When I arrived at the venue, I was pleasantly surprised. I noticed that my favorite Jack and Coke “powered” the event, and I was so happy to have a drink sample at 4pm. And my Youngest Brother and their bandmate not only joined a battle of the bands, but they won the contest and received PHP 100,000 in the process. That is fucking awesome. Congratulations to them!

What else? After coming home from the music festival, I started watching this South Korean series called Vigilante. The premise caught my attention – it is about a police university student who is a violent vigilante at night. There are 2 episodes so far, and it is right up my alley – vigilantism. Thank you, Disney+, for recommending it. It is definitely on top of my watch list so far.

And time’s up.

10-Minute Warning LXXVI

Here’s an updated on my health today: After walking around the house yesterday and tried to complete 6,000 steps, now I feel a bit weak again and in need of more sleep. So I did sleep, plus I ate well and drank more Gatorade.

What else happened in my life today? I got to watch Castle and Loki. Thank goodness for Disney+. And I also watched clips of this week’s WWE Raw. Thank goodness for YouTube.

Crap. I’m feeling sleepy again. Later.

Notes to Self VIII

Recently, whenever my parents/bosses didn’t have a task for me, I did a few job interviews. And not one employer gave a job offer; not even an entry-level one. I thought all the rejections I have taken since the COVID-19 pandemic had toughened me up, but it still breaks my heart whenever a potential employer doesn’t take a chance on me. I truly feel like giving up on hunting for a web/graphic design job and just focusing on the clerical work that I have now.

Then recently, while I was binge-watching the American crime mystery/dramedy series Castle, I heard a quote from Richard Castle (played by Nathan Fillion) for his daughter Alexis (played by Molly Quinn) that hit my heart.

And that, my friends, is my 8th Note to Self.
