Notes to Self VII

Now, here I am, writing my 100th post here on The Dispatch. What should I talk about? Another Minute Warning post? Another Gratitude Log? How about a new Note to Self?

Well, then. I’m settling for the latter. Welcome to the 7th edition of Notes to Self – where I quote something relevant from any form of media or someone I know in real life. In this edition, because this is a monumental 100th post for The Dispatch, I’m quoting my number 1 hero, the legendary musician Dave Grohl of Nirvana and Foo Fighters.

The Wall II

Now’s the perfect time to break the wall
And let out the loudest bawl
For I am finally reinvigorated
And depression is obliterated

Now’s the perfect time to break the wall
And get ready for the next brawl
All of my demons should run
My road to redemption has begun

Now’s the perfect time to break the wall
And tell Death to recall
This is not the end of my story
I will run through life with fury

10-Minute Warning XII

So, what can I type in here in under 10 minutes?

Unfortunately, 10 minutes is all I have. I feel lazy to work, do chores or even write this post. But I must because I don’t want to ruin my blogging streak that started last February 6. So, I’m writing about my laziness to write here.

I don’t know why I became so lazy after weeks of blogging frequently. Maybe it’s the summer heat sucking my energy. Maybe it’s because I got used to eating and sleeping more during my week-long vacation in Cagayan. Or maybe it’s both. All I know is that I’m so fucking lazy. I hope I can eliminate this laziness in the next post due Wednesday.

Now that’s said, what happened in my life today? Nothing much. I did a bit of work, then I joined Mother and Younger Brother in running errands. After that, I had my favorite affogato at Satchmi even if I have a bit of a cold. (Don’t worry. I don’t have COVID-19. According to 2 rapid tests, I tested negative.) It feels good to be back in my favorite cafe after a week away from the city, even for just a few minutes.

And time’s up.
