Song of the Moment C: Foo Fighters’ “Run”

I’ve had many right-song-at-the-right-time moments lately, from hearing Saya’s “Natsu Shigure” during a rainy walk to my favorite cafe last June to hearing the opening theme of Person of Interest (my all-time favorite show) when I typed the exact title during a recent online conversation. As a music fan, I truly love those perfectly-timed moments.

Today, I finally recovered from two weeks of muscle pain and coughing. (Violently coughing at night is not a good experience at all. And I can really feel the aging now. Damn.) Thanks to resting, drinking The Angel’s Cup (which is basically hot honey/citron/ginger tea), and listening more to mellow music, now I’m feeling great physically, and I went back just in time for work. 10-Minute Warning CXXIX

I have some good and bad news about my physical health.

The good news is that I didn’t get a fever even if I’m expecting to. The bad news is that I’m still coughing, my throat is still itchy, and I still feel weak. I’m so weak that I skipped work today. I should have a checkup soon.

I wish I could tell more about what’s going on with me, but I truly feel weak. Get well soon, self.

10-Minute Warning CXVI

In my previous post, I said that I would get sick. And I was right. Since yesterday, I have been feeling weak and have an itchy throat. Today I started coughing a bit. That explains why I didn’t blog yesterday even if I should have, and I can’t skip post no. 14 of this April.

Anyway, I drank my medicine already, and I hope I get better tomorrow because I will go to Laguna with my parents and cousin for a birthday party. It has been a year or 2 since I went there, and that makes the trip more special and exciting.

What else? Well, my 10 minutes is not yet finished, but I’m ending the post here. I need to rest to accelerate my recovery. See you tomorrow, May 1, Labor Day.
