10-Minute Warning CXL

I’m becoming more forgetful recently, even if I write a lot online or offline.

For example, I left my home and had an affogato at my favorite spot tonight. Before I started drinking and writing, I took out the box containing my wireless earphones, and the right part of my earphones was not there. I feel bad about myself for a minute because I usually check out my everyday carry before I leave home. And I had to listen to only 1 earphone while writing.

The good news is that my Mother found the right part of my earphones and I got it upon arriving home. But the bad news is, well, I’m becoming more forgetful. I need to be more mindful about my belongings.

I have another example of me becoming more forgetful nowadays, but my time is up tonight.

Song of the Moment XLVI: Linkin Park’s “The Emptiness Machine”

Tonight, let me enjoy the incredible energy and sound of “The Emptiness Machine”, the newest song from one of my top 5 favorite bands of all time, Linkin Park.

After 7 long years, Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Dave “Phoenix” Farrell, and Joe Hahn are back with a new co-vocalist and drummer, Emily Armstrong (of Dead Sara) and Colin Brittain, and I’m so happy about their return. I love the new single “The Emptiness Machine” (it’s on repeat as I type this), and the band’s performance on their recent concert livestream is breathtaking. They still sound perfect live, and Ms. Armstrong’s vocal ability (especially when she sang the LP classics) made their performance sound fresh but still passionate. I’m sure our beloved Chester Bennington is so proud and smiling from above.

I’m so pumped for the upcoming Linkin Park album From Zero (which will be released on November 15, 2024), and I hope the band includes the Philippines in their world tour soon.

Welcome back, Linkin Park!

10-Minute Warning CXXXIX

All right. What can I write here under 10 minutes?

Honestly, I’m too lazy to write here on The Diary today. It must be the somber weather. But I don’t want to ruin my blogging schedule again, so here I am.

Anyway, I ran a few errands yesterday even if it’s raining moderately or heavily. But I wanted it to be done with, so I braved the weather. After that, I had a fresh haircut and a tasty dinner at Oversight and then I went home.

As for today, it’s mostly work and I did not go outside. I found a way to work on my monthly billings faster. Usually, I finish all the billings in 3-4 days. Now I’m about to finish everything tomorrow. That’s 2 days faster. And I also messaged a few suppliers, too. Good job, self!

And time’s up.
