Song of the Moment XIV: Odette Quesada’s “Friend of Mine”

In today’s post, let me simply share the ultimate song about unrequited love – something I can relate to.

You tell me about the love you’ve had
And I listen very eagerly
But deep inside you’ll never see
This feeling of emptiness
It makes me feel sad
But then again I’m glad

That is all.

10-Minute Warning CVIII

So, what happened in my life today?

Not much. I ran errands in the morning, had lunch with my parents/bosses, and finally got my monthly Cold Brew Malt at Starbucks Reserve in the afternoon. The drink mentioned above woke me and energized me so much that I canceled my planned afternoon nap – and I’m fine with it. It made me happy actually.

What else? Well, I’m kind of worried about my backup phone because I haven’t charged it for a few weeks and now it’s super drained. I left my dead phone charging for a while now, and I hope it finally charges after a few hours.

Before typing this entry, I went to the nearest 7-Eleven and bought 3 cans of Jack and Coke and 3 cans of Coke Zero for my Younger Brother. I’m supposed to buy a 1.5L of Coke Zero, but unfortunately, it’s not available. This has become a weekly happy habit of ours. Cheers to the weekend!

And time’s up.
