30-Minute Warning XXXIX

What can I tell here under 30 minutes?

Today, I got the peaceful Sunday that I wanted. There was one thing on today’s to-do list that I didn’t get to do (which is to try the Ube Pinipig from Panco Cafe), but at least I was able to do my Sunday habit: go to Mass with my family. My heart and soul are simply happy.

And there was a bonus treat: After Mass, my Mother, cousins, and I went to Army Navy and I had my favorite food in the world—a chicken burrito with orange cheese. After more than a month of not eating my favorite dish, I finally did. Thank you for the wonderful treat, Mother!

In a previous post, I said that I want to make changes in my life slowly but surely. Aside from having one celebratory glass of Jack & Coke Zero per week, moving forward, I also swear to have my favorite burrito occasionally instead of every week. Why? Firstly, I want to save more money. Secondly, I have been celebrating my small victories every weekend with said burrito. But this time, I want to make the chicken burrito special again, so having it on special occasions does that. And tonight’s chicken burrito is extra special because my Mother ordered it for me. Thank you once again, my beloved Mother!

And my 30 minutes are up. See you in the next post.

XXIV: Full Circle III (The Diary’s 365th Entry)

I wrote in the previous post that I would make this post extra special because this is The Diary’s 365th entry. However, after several days of drafting and not being content with whatever I came up with, I gave up for a while.

Maybe I will do what I do best: write down what is currently in my mind and then take it from there. And while I’m at it, I’m opening an ice-cold can of Jack & Coke Zero.

10-Minute Warning CLXXV

So, what can I tell here under 10 minutes?

It’s almost 5 in the morning, and almost an hour ago I finished all of the method statements, risk assessments, and permit forms for a single work permit. This is the fourth attempt to submit that fucking work permit, and I’m worried it will go to waste again because one of the requirements that I applied weeks before will expire in a few days. But I’m thankful I got through burning the midnight oil with my Younger Brother’s guidance and a few glasses of my favorite Jack & Coke Zero. Wish me luck on the work permit’s approval this Monday.

Anyway, I checked a few days ago and found that this is going to be my 364th post here on The Diary. Now I want to make my next (and my 365th) post extra special, and I should write it this weekend. Wish me luck on that one, too.

After writing this and drinking my third Jack & Coke Zero, I need to sleep. See you on the next post.
