10-Minute Warning LII

OK. What can I tell here in under 10 minutes?

First of all, I would like to say that in a few days, I will be publishing my 100th post here on The Dispatch. And as I approach a historic entry (for me, that is), I’m planning to make fewer Minute Warning posts. I’m planning to make more non-time pressure content like Gratitude Logs and Notes to Self. Watch this space, my friends!

And as for what happened today… other than helping someone with a small debt and having Jollibee’s Chickenjoy for dinner with my Father and Younger Brother, nothing much happened. Today has been OK. But at least it’s not a bad day.

And time’s up.

10-Minute Warning XLII

My birthday is on December 5, but as early as today I’m already looking for possible venues and thinking of a theme for my party. One of the venues is a Filipino-themed restaurant that has function rooms that can handle 12 to 40 people. As for the theme, I’m thinking of throwing a karaoke costume party.

Wait a minute. Do I even have funds to throw a party? The funny thing is… no, I don’t have any funds as of now. I don’t even know if I can throw a party with just my family. But as I continue to note, plan and manifest my dream birthday party, I feel better and more motivated to save money for the event.

I will see if I can pull this party off. Wish me luck!

10-Minute Warning XXXVIII

So, what can I share here under 10 minutes?

Well, tonight I did something I have never done before: Buy a Moleskine 18-month daily planner. The planner’s timeline starts from July 2023 and ends on December 2024. I’m excited to list down all of my notes and plans – most especially my birthday plans. (My birthday is on December 5, by the way. And I hope I will be able to throw a party for my family and friends.)

Here’s to planning the future and documenting the present!
