10-Minute Warning LXXXVIII

It’s less than a week away before my birthday, and I lost one of my 2 final venue choices because I waited for too long. My bad. I will drop by the other venue tomorrow so I can check the area and have a reservation in person. If I can’t get the reservation though, there’s Jollibee… kidding! Or am I?

And then there’s the payment. This will be the 1st time I will treat less than 20 of my loved ones to a birthday dinner while I’m employed, and I’m nervous and excited about that. I hope I don’t go over the budget, but I should be prepared for it. Wish me luck!

Less than a week before my birthday… I may be depressed, but yey.

OK. Now I’m back on track – specifically, I’m back to planning my birthday party. And thanks to my Younger Brother, I’m considering a birthday party at… Jollibee. That’s right. The most popular chain of family-friendly fast food restaurants in the Philippines. We will see about that though. I still might end up having a party at my top option, Satchmi.

Anyway, how was my day at work today? It was productive. I finished sorting all the billings for this month and then printed them out. I will submit those billings tomorrow.

After work, my Younger Brother, cousin and I exercised at Three Trees, and then we walked a bit more nearby while we were talking about diet, our careers and my birthday plans. That’s when my Younger Brother brought up the Jollibee party idea. Once again, thank you for the suggestion, Younger Brother.

And time’s up.

OK. What can I tell here in under 10 minutes?

First of all, I would like to say that in a few days, I will be publishing my 100th post here on The Dispatch. And as I approach a historic entry (for me, that is), I’m planning to make fewer Minute Warning posts. I’m planning to make more non-time pressure content like Gratitude Logs and Notes to Self. Watch this space, my friends!

And as for what happened today… other than helping someone with a small debt and having Jollibee’s Chickenjoy for dinner with my Father and Younger Brother, nothing much happened. Today has been OK. But at least it’s not a bad day.

And time’s up.
