10-Minute Warning LXI

So, what can I share here in under 10 minutes?

Today was a good day. I ran an errand and then I had my weekly hangout at Satchmi. This is the 1st time I visited my favorite cafe at 10am. I usually go there in the afternoon or evening. And what did I have while I was there? My beloved affogato. And I was able to update my planner/journal after. Coolcoolcool!

After my time at Satchmi, I met with my parents at SaladStop! for lunch. This is the 1st time we ate there in their actual spot. We usually order their salads to go. And what did we have for today? Their Hail Caesar and Taco Loco. The former was good, but the latter was excellent! (It must be the spiciness.) Next time I will order some more Taco Loco with extra chicken bits.

After our lunch, we went home and I tried to nap… but I can’t. The affogato’s espresso that I had was so strong (which I love). So I watched a few episodes of How I Met Your Mother, and I’m so close to finishing the entire series (again).

I’m supposed to write more but my time is up.

10-Minute Warning LX

OK. What happened in my life today?

I’m supposed to have a job interview today, but I’m so weak again that I feel like I have a ball and chain while walking. I had to reschedule and thankfully my potential employer agreed to it. I truly hope I become better tomorrow and not screw up the interview.

Today my body just feels weak, and somehow I’m worried that it will turn into the flu. Why? My Father had the flu last weekend (he is now better), and my Younger Brother has the flu today. But even if I felt weak, I had to be strong and help my Mother take care of my Younger Brother.

And strong, I became. Forcefully. Somehow tonight I pushed through going upstairs and bringing Younger Brother his dinner, bringing his plate downstairs, preparing his laptop so he can watch How I Met Your Mother, and then blogging at this moment. It was like I was running on an emergency battery and now I truly feel weak. But it was worth it because I love my family and I have to take care of them when they are sick.

I hope my Younger Brother gets well soon. And I hope my current weakness gets away as well.

And time’s up.
