Song of the Moment XXXIII: Travie McCoy’s “Billionaire” (featuring Bruno Mars)

It has been 12 days since my family and I returned from our trip to Tokyo, Japan. But until now, I still miss the place and everything about it. I just wish I had lots of money to go back there whenever and how long I want to.

And then Travie McCoy and Bruno Mars song popped into my head – an appropriate Song of the Moment.

I wanna be a billionaire so fucking bad

Song of the Moment XXII: Bruno Mars’ “When I Was Your Man”

After all that happened last WrestleMania weekend (and what a weekend it was), I remembered a few things and it made me feel sad. I don’t want to talk about it here, but all I can say is that I’m so sad that my visit to my favorite cafe yesterday did not work somehow. Maybe I should go back again sometime this week and have another affogato there.

Speaking of sad, let me share a song that I have been listening to multiple times tonight: the saddest Bruno Mars song in my opinion, “When I Was Your Man”. I don’t want to talk about why I’m listening to it on repeat. For now, maybe. Just listen to the song.

Damn. I need a drink.

10-Minute Warning VII

So, what can I type here after publishing the 6th 10-Minute Warning Post an hour ago?

Well, this week, with the exception of my favorite song of all time and alarm clock music, Foo Fighters’ “The Pretender”, it has been fun listening to Bruno Mars’ music from his studio albums to his collaborations with Mark Ronson and Anderson .Paak (as Silk Sonic). And no, the period before Paak is not a typo. And I enjoy Mars’ music not because most people have been telling me I look like him. I enjoy his music because they are totally good music. His music sounds vintage fun yet modern, and there is no Bruno Mars song that I don’t like. And yes, Bruno Mars is as mainstream as he can get, but I believe more people should listen to his music. Most friends of mine listen to music. So why not add more?

That being said, I should listen to Snoop Dogg’s `debut and best album (in my opinion) Doggystyle. I’m not kidding – that hip-hop album got me through a rough 2016, the year I was diagnosed with clinical depression. And the album is available again on my trusty music app Spotify, so why enjoy listening to the album like I used to? Thank you, Snoop Dogg, for making Doggystyle available on Spotify again.

As of this typing, I still feel buzzed from all 5 glasses of my beloved Jack and Coke and I’m only at home. And you know what? It’s fun! And I also feel more confident when I’m drunk as fuck. I think they call that “liquid courage”? I don’t think I will properly remember how I write this shit.

Also, I should type this in: I should save some money for a Motorino, a portable record player from my favorite cafe Satchmi. I have been going to the cafe since God knows when, but I still have not bought their Motorino. I hope to buy one before 2023 ends. Wish me luck!

And time’s up.
