10-Minute Warning LXXXI

So, what can I share here under 10 minutes after drinking 2 cans of Jack and Coke at 1am?

Yesterday I went to a music festival with my Mother and my Younger Brother. Besides knowing I would see my Youngest Brother perform with his bandmates, I didn’t know what to expect. When I arrived at the venue, I was pleasantly surprised. I noticed that my favorite Jack and Coke “powered” the event, and I was so happy to have a drink sample at 4pm. And my Youngest Brother and their bandmate not only joined a battle of the bands, but they won the contest and received PHP 100,000 in the process. That is fucking awesome. Congratulations to them!

What else? After coming home from the music festival, I started watching this South Korean series called Vigilante. The premise caught my attention – it is about a police university student who is a violent vigilante at night. There are 2 episodes so far, and it is right up my alley – vigilantism. Thank you, Disney+, for recommending it. It is definitely on top of my watch list so far.

And time’s up.

10-Minute Warning LXIV

After 12 days of not exercising, I finally got to walk and jog for an hour tonight. I feel tired but happy. I need to work out more though, do more aerobics to burn more fat.

What else? Well, my younger brothers are organizing a birthday benefit gig next month. They have done this before – last year their lineup is diverse (R&B, rock, etc.). This year, the theme will be intimate acoustic. And I will definitely be there!

That’s it. That’s all I can write about.

Notes to Self VII

Now, here I am, writing my 100th post here on The Dispatch. What should I talk about? Another Minute Warning post? Another Gratitude Log? How about a new Note to Self?

Well, then. I’m settling for the latter. Welcome to the 7th edition of Notes to Self – where I quote something relevant from any form of media or someone I know in real life. In this edition, because this is a monumental 100th post for The Dispatch, I’m quoting my number 1 hero, the legendary musician Dave Grohl of Nirvana and Foo Fighters.
