10-Minute Warning CIII

OK. What can I share here in under 10 minutes?

Once again, I’m not in a good mood. But time this, that should not stop me from writing here on The Dispatch. I will not be able to accomplish anything if I keep on letting my bad mood stop me.

Moving on… I got my salary today – 2 days after the actual payday. I’m not complaining though. At least I got my salary already. This time though, I’m more careful about spending my money. I want to limit my spending in the next 2 weeks at least. That means I can’t go out with friends for now and I would spend less if I were to go to my favorite restaurants and cafes.

What else? Oh! My Younger Brother is at the airport now. He is going to Cebu for the Sinulog Festival. I’m happy for him. He has been working so hard on his endeavors and he deserves a break. Have a fun and safe trip, my brother!

What else? Since my Younger Brother is on vacation, I’m expecting more workload in the next several days and I will need to go to my ENT visit alone. And I quote The Rock, “Just bring it!”

X: From 2023 to 2024 (A Year-End Post) I

At exactly 12am on December 2023, I started writing my year-end post while finishing my 2nd Jack and Coke. I made an outline of all the good and bad things that happened in my year 2023, and then I started fleshing out what I outlined.

While I was writing the almost middle of the post, I yawned. I said to myself, “Crap. I feel tired. I’m supposed to finish this post.” But then I decided not to fight the sleepiness, so I hopped on the couch and napped.

5 minutes later, I woke up, and my laptop was off. I didn’t turn off my laptop.

And then I heard a voice. “Hi, Dewey.”

I looked up and I saw myself – a version of myself, that is. He is The Deranged Writer of 2008.

10-Minute Warning XCVIII

So, what can I tell here under 10 minutes?

Today I’m supposed to make a longer post, but honestly I’m still tired and a bit moody even if I had a buffet, coffee and a long stroll with relatives yesterday.

But even if I’m tired and moody, I still made time to watch Rewind with my Mother and cousins, and we are about to watch Mallari in 10 minutes. Thank goodness for comfortable seats and no long walking today.

Tomorrow, Saturday, I will make time to make a year-end post. But if ever I don’t do that, I would like to tell this to everyone: Happy new year!
