Lately, I have been more forgetful, and I hate it.
Let me list all the things I (almost) forgot this week.
April 28, Monday
Last Monday morning, I forgot to list my work tasks on my planner and worked right away. I only remembered to list them when I dropped by my favorite cafe, Satchmi… at night.
April 29, Tuesday and April 30, Wednesday
I went about my day and worked a bit… but then I rested more because I felt dizzy and weak. When I woke up on Wednesday morning, I remembered something I should have done yesterday: Watch WWE Raw.
Since I became at least a lurker on social media and became an avid WWE fan again and never looked back, I only miss out sometimes on Raw, SmackDown, NXT, and their PLEs (Premium Live Events). That is why I feel bad for forgetting to watch Raw yesterday.
Anyway, what else did I forget on Wednesday? I have been neglecting something for the past few weeks: writing on both my planner and smartphone. Sometimes, I write things in my planner, but I forget to type on my phone. Sometimes, the opposite happens. Sometimes, I forget to do either. I think that’s why I have been more forgetful lately.
That brings me to forget a few more things I planned last week: my haircut time and Thunderbolts* viewing with my family on the premiere night. But both events pushed through, thanks to being reminded by my planner and my family. (And I will share my Thunderbolts* review as soon as possible.)
May 1, Thursday
My Mother, Father, and I went to Laguna early to celebrate Lolo Roel’s birthday with his family. It warms my heart to share laughter and stories while having a tasty meal with my loved ones.
Happiest birthday in heaven, Lolo Roel. Your family, my family, and I love you and miss you so much.
After coming home, I checked my Messenger and I had a new message from Lola Wilma, Lolo Roel’s wife. It turns out she also messaged me last February. Sorry, Lola, I forgot to reply.
May 2, Friday
Yesterday, well… I did not forget anything. Thank goodness.
Wait. I did forget something. I forgot to open an ice-cold Jack & Coke Zero on that night. Fuck.
May 3, Saturday
I’m thinking of what I’m supposed to do on that day… oh, right. I’m supposed to write this post, but I spent the day sleeping and then I went to a water spa with my family. It was worth it though—the water spa was truly rejuvenating.
May 4, Sunday
Now I’m typing this while consuming my favorite Jack & Coke Zero, and I hope I don’t forget things today and in the future.
And before I forget: To all the Star Wars fans, May the 4th be with you!
See you all in the next post.
