30-Minute Warning XX

What can I write here under 30 minutes?

Wow. The past 2 days have been my busiest workdays ever since I started working for my family’s company, and now I’m tired. I almost chose to blog using my smartphone because I have been using my laptop all day, but I changed my mind. And now here I am, writing on The Diary.

Yesterday, I learned how to make proposals and it was a doozy. I encountered so many numbers during the learning process, so it was hard for me at first. But I’m thankful for Younger Brother guiding me along the way. Thank you, brother. And I also ordered some materials from one of our suppliers. (Something I’m familiar with already.)

As for other things that happened yesterday, well… I got my affogato fix at my favorite cafe Satchmi. The combination of salted caramel ice cream and espresso gave me the boost I needed, so I was fine learning something new like making a proposal. Thank you, my favorite spot. Thank you.

Today, I ordered a different material from a different supplier and then worked on last month’s billings. I didn’t finish the latter, but I will be able to finish it tomorrow. (That’s 2 days of billing work instead of my usual 3 to 4. I think that’s an accomplishment.)

What else? Oh! I’m still uncertain when I will go to Japan with my family, but I’m sure it will be June 2024. Wait. I already said that in an old post. But oh my God. I’m excited! (I think you can tell because I repeated it?)

And time’s up.

30-Minute Warning XVIII

So, what can I type here under 30 minutes?

Oh, goodness… what a long day. I went to Malate to pick up something important, and since El Poco Cantina is nearby, I went there to have a late lunch. Their quesabirria tacos are so yummy that I will go back for more and I will recommend their food (again) to everyone in my inner circle.

After my late lunch, I hopped on the LRT and MRT (something I have not done in [I think] 2 years) and I was reminded of all my daily commutes as a student and as a worker in Makati. The coaches were almost packed to capacity, but it was bearable. It’s a good thing I took the train before rush hour. After the train ride, I went to my favorite spot Satchmi for my affogato fix and to write in my journal. After that, I went to BGC for some more errands, and then I went home.

Basically, I went to 3 different cities today. It was tiring but it was nice and somehow productive.

What else? Oh, right. Taylor Swift is in Singapore for her Eras Tour. She already performed last March 2, 3, 4, 7, and today, March 8 (I’m sure the show already ended after I typed this post). Her final Singapore show (at least for the Eras Tour) will happen tomorrow, March 9. That’s 6 shows in Singapore. Wow. And I’m so happy for my friends who have seen her and will see her live. My favorite band, Foo Fighters, performed at the same stadium last August 26, 2017, and I have so many happy memories of that show. I hope to see the Foos again, Taylor Swift, or any other favorite musical act of mine this 2024 or later. Fingers crossed!

And time’s up.

10-Minute Warning CIX

I’m still not feeling well physically, but I will try to write something here.

So, what happened today? I lacked sleep, but I still joined my Mother and Father on their morning errands and inspections – something I hadn’t done in quite a while. After that, we had lunch at Mann Hann with my Youngest Brother. After that lunch, I bought some French Vanilla Mille-Feuille Oatmilk Latte from Starbucks for my younger bro, and my favorite Cold Brew Malt for myself. But… after coming home, the cold caffeinated drink I bought did not stop me from my afternoon nap.

What else? Oh! Speaking of my Youngest Brother, he’s graduating from college this March, and everyone in the family is excited. Soon we can proudly say that we are all college graduates, and that is so awesome!

And time’s up.
