The Door I

Trigger warning: This poem has themes of depression and suicide. Please be advised.

I thought it was right to build a wall
Then keep my frustration and all
I forgot that I had many true friends
Who would listen to me ’til the end

I thought it was right to build a wall
Then wait for the Reaper to call
Shutting everyone out was a mistake
I realized too late what was at stake

I thought it was right to build a wall
The wall only led to friendships’ fall
I have made the kindest hearts sore
Now they forever locked the door

The Deranged Writer

Yes, he wears a mask sometimes. And according to most people, he looks like Bruno Mars when he is unmasked. Absolutely deranged, below-average writer.
