I have been posting more Song the Moment and Minute Warning entries since this February, and I just drank 4 Jack and Cokes, so maybe it’s time to break the cycle and write a normal blog post.
Here we go…
Going to Japan
The exact dates are still pending, but I’m sure my family and I will go on vacation to Japan this June 2024. Specifically, we are going to Tokyo. Going to Japan has been a dream of mine for so long, and I’m so excited for the trip. And finally, I’m going to another country that is not Singapore. (I lost count of how many times I have been there. My recent SG trip happened in August 2017 when I first saw my favorite band, Foo Fighters, for the 1st time.)
That being said, I need to spend less to have more pocket money for the Japan trip and for my savings in general.
Saving More Money
I noticed that I have been spending more money than I should have, and I need to adjust my splurges/spending. For example, I have been eating my favorite burgers and burritos in my favorite Army Navy once a week. I have also bought 2 Funko Pops this March – Mighty Morphin Power Rangers‘ White Ranger with his sword Saba and WWE’s Undertaker with a 2022 Hall of Fame plaque. (I will post photos of them soon on Instagram.)
To save more money and still enjoy my favorite food, I will eat at Army Navy once a month instead. (I have done this before, and it helped me save more cash and make my visits to my favorite restaurant more special.) As for Funko Pops or any vinyl/action figure, I should avoid buying those for now.

Where Should I Go in Tokyo?
Going back to the upcoming trip, to those who live in Tokyo, Japan and to those who have been there: What tourist spots would you recommend? I know I can find the answers easily on Google, but it would be nice to know the answers straight from my readers and friends.
