Notes to Self XIV

Hi! I’m The Deranged Writer and welcome to another episode of Notes to Self! In this blog series, I quote something worth remembering from any media or someone I know.

And in this 14th episode of Notes to Self (and the 9th entry of 14 Days of The Deranged Writer [2024]), I’m quoting once again my favorite superhero, Batman – in particular, Robert Pattinson’s version from the movie The Batman.

Spoiler warning if you have not seen The Batman (2022).

Our scars can destroy us, even after the physical wounds have healed. But if we survive them, they can transform us. They can give us the power to endure, and the strength to fight.

Batman, The Batman (2022)

Hearing the ending speech of Batman as he helps in recovery efforts in a flooded Gotham City is truly inspiring, and that scene is one of my favorite parts of The Batman. As for the said quote, it’s simply one of my favorite Batman quotes of all time. Thank you for motivating words once again, Dark Knight.

If you have not seen The Batman yet, please go watch it. It does not feel like a superhero film at all; it’s an amazing, gritty detective thriller.

And to you, my dear reader: Do you have any quote I should remember? If you have one, please let me know in the comments section below, on my socials (FacebookInstagram, and X), or through email at therealderangedwriter@gmail.com.

‘Til the next post… and 5 days to go before my birthday!

The Deranged Writer

Yes, he wears a mask sometimes. And according to most people, he looks like Bruno Mars when he is unmasked. Absolutely deranged, below-average writer.
